Artists Commissons

Frân Wen are offering two artist commissions during the development phase of their ambitious new home, Nyth.

Having purchased the old St. Mary’s Church in Hirael, Bangor and are set to transform it into their new home, the centre will be rooted in Frân Wen’s ethos as a welcoming, vibrant and inclusive space to exercise creativity and collaboration.

We want to approach our capital development with the same principles and are looking for two artists to collaborate with us, the local community and our design team at Manalo & White to develop new creative ideas for the building. The artists’ process will be supported and part-facilitated by specialist disabled artists consultants, Dis/Ordinary Architecture.
