Imagine Colwyn Bay, School Art Project

St David’s Day 2020

Imagine Colwyn Bay is an exciting project that seeks to harness interest in the town’s unique past to inspire and connect people, groups and businesses through innovative cultural activities, exhibitions and events.

The purpose of this commission is to contract an artist in residence to facilitate creative sessions in local primary schools.

The sessions are required to provide year 5 and 6 pupils in the 5 participating primary schools (Colwyn Bay area) with an arts experience linking to local history and celebrating Welsh Culture.

The creative output from these sessions will be used by the schools as part of the St. David’s Day parade.
