Join us as we mark 20 years of devolution in Wales by bringing GWLAD: Future Wales Festival to Caernarfon.
This FREE event will have something for the whole family!
Family Fun Day 11.00 – 16.00
Between 11:00 & 16:00 we will have a range of performances including a new show ‘Our Senedd’ which tells the story of the Assembly, by the educational theatre company ‘Mewn Cymeriad / In Character’, local talent Sbarc and Angylion Kelly and a science show by Techniquest.
In addition to the performances there will be an array of activities including pedal powered disco, arts & crafts and exhibitions from the National Library of Wales and the National Slate Museum.
Each activity is associated with the areas devolved to the National Assembly for Wales, such as health, environment, Welsh language, skills and education.
At 16:00 we will host a panel discussion - ‘Hopes for a Future Wales’ – this will provide an opportunity to discuss and share ideas about the issues that mater locally and to Wales as a whole. There will be an opportunity for you to put your question to the panel during the event. The panellists include:

Brengain Williams, Welsh Youth Parliament Member, Arfon
Ifan Morgan Jones, Editor Nation.Cymru
Sean Taylor, Founder and President, Zip World
Elin Gwilym, Journalist, BBC Wales
A reception, hosted by Siân Gwenllian, AM will follow the panel discussion.
